Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school students.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: Training typically lasts one hour and is conducted either in-person or online. Poll workers are required to attend 3 hours of training every 2 years, but are encouraged to attend training prior to each election. Chief election officers are required to attend 6 hours of training every 2 years.
