    $175 to $200 for Election Day. $25 flat rate for training. $13.50 per hour for part-day and part-time workers. Poll workers who transport election supplies may be reimbursed for mileage.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • Each poll worker should be a registered voter and a resident of the precinct for which the person is appointed. If necessary, a vacancy may be filled by appointing any registered voter of the county in which the precinct is located.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1.5 hours. Training is highly recommended for workers.
