    $15 to $17 per hour for Election Day. $10 per hour for training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: Poll workers must complete two in-person training sessions. The County holds a 3.5 hour long training which must be completed at least once every two years. The Township leads another 1.5 hour long training prior to each election.
