Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Cuyahoga County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 17-year-olds who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 3 hours. Returning workers who have recently conducted training in-person can complete training online.

All workers must attend a mandatory two-hour meeting the Monday evening before Election Day from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.

Individuals who are comfortable using computers and tablets are strongly encouraged to apply.
