Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Nevada to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 2 hours.

In addition to Election Day workers, Lander County is looking for pre-election workers. Early Voting workers typically work in shifts from 7:45 AM to 1:00 PM and 12:45 PM to 6:00 PM. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
