    $120 to $220 for Election Day, plus mileage for some positions. Additional $20 to $40 for training. $12 per hour for Early Voting workers.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Forsyth County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours.

In addition to finding Election Day workers, Forsyth County is looking for Early Voting workers. Early Voting poll workers work a maximum of 7 hours per day. Find more information about working during Early Voting here.
