Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Middlebury (Town) to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old town residents.

  • Training Details: Poll worker training is held on an as-needed basis depending on the election cycle and the poll worker position. The town clerk also provides refresher training the morning of Election Day.

Individuals who are comfortable using computers and tablets are strongly encouraged to apply.

Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
