Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 hours. Training is required at least once every two years.

In addition to Election Day workers, the City of St. Clair Shores is hiring early voting workers. Early voting shifts run from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
