    $18 per hour on Election Day. Supervisory poll workers receive an additional $100 flat rate per day. $35 for attending training. $35 for E-poll book training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 hours. An additional E-Poll book training typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours.
