Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: Training consists of a 3-hour class held by the county and 3-hour class held by the township, totalling 6 hours of training. Poll workers must complete training at least once every two years.
