Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours.

In addition to precinct workers, the City of Dearborn is hiring absentee receiving board workers. Those workers work from approximately 7:00 PM until midnight and earn $100.
