    $15.68 per hour for Election Day and training. $28.22 for a half day meal stipend. $51.21 for a full day stipend. Some positions earn a flat rate bonus of $57.47 to $85.69.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours. Poll workers must complete training at least once every two years.
