Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Monroe County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 3 hours.

Most Polling locations will get together and bring a dish to share with others, making for a delightful eating experience. If you have a special diet, you can opt out of sharing with others and bring your own food that meets your dietary restrictions.
