Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Manatee County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: New worker orientation typically lasts 3 to 3.5 hours. In-person training is required prior to each election, length of training depends on position.
