Workers are required to help set up the precinct the day before an election for 2 to 3 hours.
Early voting can be worked in part day shifts: from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Poll workers do not need to be registered voters, but they must be residents of the District of Columbia. Supervisory workers must be residents of the District of Columbia and registered voters.
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Training Details: In-person training typically lasts at least 4 hours. Supervisory workers must complete a full-day training program.
