Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Colorado to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school juniors/seniors who are U.S. citizens.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: A combination of in-person and online training is required. In-person training typically lasts 1 hour. Online training typically lasts 4 hours.

In addition to Election Day workers, Rio Blanco County is looking for pre-election workers. Early Voting shifts vary between the hours of 8:30 to 4:30 PM. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
