Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Arizona to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old U.S. citizens

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: Training may be conducted in-person or online. In-person training typically lasts 2.5 hours. Online training typically lasts 2.5 to 3.5 hours.

Bilingual individuals are encouraged to apply. Pima County is in particular need for bilingual individuals who speak English and one of the following languages: Spanish, O’odham, Yoeme.

Poll workers may be asked to help set up the precinct the day prior to Election Day for approximately 2 hours.
