Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in San Miguel County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old U.S. citizens who are county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 2 hours.

In addition to Election Day workers, San Miguel County is looking for Early Voting workers. Early Voting work shifts are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
