9:00 to 10:00 PM (You must work the full day)
Compensation:
$20 per hour for Vote Center, and Election Day work. $60 flat rate for training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • Poll workers over the age of 18 must either be registered voters in California or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S. and otherwise eligible to register to vote except for their lack of U.S. citizenship.

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old students who are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted for U.S. permanent residence.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 3 hours for most poll workers. Lead poll workers are hired as part-time employees and attend a 3-week training.
