9:30 PM (Full and part-day shifts are available. Part-day shifts run from 6:15 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM until approximately 9:30 PM.)
Compensation:
$10 per hour.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school students.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically 1 to 2 hours. Training is required at least once every two years. Supervisory workers must complete 6 hours of training every two years.

Additional Information

In most cases, poll workers must be qualified electors of the county in which they serve (i.e., adult U.S. citizens who reside in the county and are not otherwise disqualified to vote).

16 and 17-year-old student poll workers can only work at the polling place serving their residence.
