$10 to $12 per hour for Election Day, Early Voting, and training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Henderson County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 hour.

Henderson County hires for Election Day and Early Voting shifts. Early Voting working hours are as follows: Monday, Wednesday Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM; Saturday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
