Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Pinellas County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 3 to 5 hours.

Pinellas County also has a Partners at the Polls program for which poll workers can choose to donate their wages to a partner non-profit. Find more information here.
