You must be registered to vote in Montgomery County to be a poll worker
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.
Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2.5 hours and is required prior to each election. Additional online training resources are available.
In the event of under-staffing, electors from outside the precinct are permitted to work at the polls on Election Day. All workers have the option to work split shifts except for the Judge of Election.
Bilingual individuals fluent in English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Spanish, American Sign Language.
