Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Greene County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 3 hours for Election Day. In-person training typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours for Early Voting work.

Lunch is provided to workers on Election Day.

In addition to Election Day workers, Greene County is looking for Early Voting workers. Early Voting workers work in half-day shifts. Exact working times vary. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
