    $12 to $15 per hour for Election Day. $20 for training. $16 to $18 per hour for Early Voting. Supervisors earn an extra $25 to $25 flat rate for additional tasks on Election Day.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2.5 hours. Training is required at least once every 2 years.
