You must be registered to vote in Michigan to be a poll worker
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Minimum Age: 16
You must complete training to be a poll worker.
Training Details: Poll workers must attend a paid training session prior to each election. In-person training for new poll workers typically lasts 2 hours. The city also hosts specialized trainings that may be required and last between 1 and 4 hours each.
