Poll Worker End Time:
8:30 PM or later. (Part-day shifts are available.)
Compensation:
$14 per hour for Election Day, training, and set up of the polling place.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • Poll workers must be registered to vote and must be residents of the municipality or the county in which they serve. Municipal residence is preferred, but county residence is permitted.

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old county residents who are conditionally registered to vote.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 2 hours.
