Voter Registration Requirements

Poll workers must be registered to vote and must be residents of the municipality or the county in which they serve. Municipal residence is preferred, but county residence is permitted.

Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Work Requirements

Minimum Age: 16-year-old county residents who are conditionally registered to vote.

You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Training Details: In-person training lasts approximately one hour. Election officials will also mail training information to all poll workers. Training is required at least once annually.
