Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Marion County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training is required prior to each election. It lasts 2 to 6 hours, depending on position.

Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.

New poll workers are required to complete a form I-9 and provide documents that establish identity and employment authorization.
