Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Madison County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 3 hours.

Madison County also has an Adopt a Precinct in which an organization can provide volunteer poll workers who pledge to donate their wages to the organization in question. To find out more here.
