Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Lucas County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 17-year-olds who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training for new workers typically lasts 3 hours. Returning worker training typically lasts 2 hours. A combination of online and in-person training may be required.

Poll workers are asked to help set up their polling location from 6:00 to 8:00 PM the night before Election Day.
