Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Lake County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: A combination of online and in-person training is required. In-person training typically lasts 2.5 to 4 hours. Online training typically lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour.
