Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Nelson County to be a poll worker

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 17-year-olds who will turn 18 on or before the day of the regular election may serve as poll workers for the primary and regular elections in which they are qualified to vote.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 hours.
