Compensation:
$100 to $130 for Election Day and training. $55 to $70 per Early Voting day.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Montgomery County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 hour.

Additional Information

Poll workers are provided two meals on Election Day.

In addition to Election Day workers, Montgomery County is looking for Early Voting workers. Early Voting working hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
