You must be registered to vote in Scott County to be a poll worker
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.
You must complete training to be a poll worker.
Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 4 hours. At least two poll workers from each precinct must attend training prior to primary and general elections. Preference for training must be given to poll workers who have never attended a training session before. Contact your county auditor for more information.
Poll workers are required to sign a Confidentiality Notice and Agreement.
In addition to Election Day workers, Scott County is looking for pre-election workers. Early Voting, “satellite” workers work Tuesday to Saturday in six hour shifts from 9 AM to 7 PM starting October 16 to November 1. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
