Compensation:
$13 per hour for Election Day and training. Some workers are reimbursed mileage paid at $0.50 per mile.

Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 2 hours. Training is strongly encouraged for returning workers. At least two poll workers from each precinct must attend training prior to primary and general elections. Preference for training must be given to poll workers who have never attended a training session before. Contact your county auditor for more information.
