(Part-day-shifts are available from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 12:30 PM until after the polls close at 8:00 PM.)
Compensation:
$10 to $12 per hour. Mileage over 5 miles is reimbursed at $0.50 per mile.

Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Training Details: Training typically lasts 1 to 2 hours. At least two poll workers from each precinct must attend training prior to primary and general elections. Preference for training must be given to poll workers who have never attended a training session before. Contact your county auditor for more information.
