(Full day shifts are preferred. Half-day shifts may also be available.)
Compensation:
$14 per hour for Election Day and training. Poll workers are also reimbursed for mileage paid at $0.55 per mile.

Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Work Requirements

Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 3 to 3.5 hours. At least two poll workers from each precinct must attend training prior to primary and general elections. Preference for training must be given to poll workers who have never attended a training session before. Contact your county auditor for more information.
