You must be registered to vote in Fayette County to be a poll worker
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.
You must complete training to be a poll worker.
Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 3 hours.
Poll workers must declare a party affiliation for all elections except for School Board elections.
Fayette County is unable to hire enough workers for a precinct, applicants who indicate they would work anyplace or work in the ward will be given priority.
