$10 to $11 per hour for Election Day and training. Mileage reimbursement is $0.55 per mile.

Work Requirements

Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Training Details: Training typically lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. At least two poll workers from each precinct must attend training prior to primary and general elections. Preference for training must be given to poll workers who have never attended a training session before. Contact your county auditor for more information.
