Compensation:
$11 to $13 per hour for Election Day. $30 flat rate for training.

You must be registered to vote in Butler County to be a poll worker

Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Work Requirements

Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 hours. At least two poll workers from each precinct must attend training prior to primary and general elections. Preference for training must be given to poll workers who have never attended a training session before. Contact your county auditor for more information.
