You must be registered to vote in Allamakee County to be a poll worker
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Minimum Age: 17-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.
You must complete training to be a poll worker.
Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1 to 2 hours. Poll workers are required to attend training ahead of each election.
Poll workers must have good reading and listening skills.
Individuals who are comfortable using computers and tablets are strongly encouraged to apply.
Individuals who speak English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Spanish, Somali.
Allamakee County is seeking poll workers who are willing to drive on Election Day.
