Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Humboldt County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school students who are U.S. citizens and county residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 4 hours. Training can be conducted in groups or individually. You may be asked to work 3 to 4 hours during Early Voting period to train for Election Day.

Humboldt County is seeking poll workers who are willing to drive on Election Day.

Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
