9:00 to 10:00 PM (You must work the full day)
Compensation:
$160 to $340 for Election Day. $25 for online training. $45 to $75 for in-person training. $75 to $100 for workers in Election Office on Election Day. $15 to $24 per hour for Early Voting. $15 per hour for Early Voting training.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: Training is conducted online and is self-paced. In-person training may be required for supervisory workers.

Additional Information

Poll workers should plan to vote before Election Day unless they are assigned to their own polling place.

Poll workers must be U.S. citizens who are residents or employees of the county where they serve. Poll workers can work in an adjoining county if they have permission from their home county’s election office and there is not a poll worker shortage in their home county.

Individuals who are comfortable using computers and tablets are strongly encouraged to apply.

Bilingual individuals fluent in English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin.
