Compensation:
$325 to $400 for Election Day and training. $15 to $16 per hour for Early Voting.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Putnam County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours. A 1-hour sensitivity training is also required.
