Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Palm Beach County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: A combination of in-person and online training is required. In-person training typically lasts 2 to 6 hours. Online training typically lasts 1 hour.

Supervisory poll workers are required to set up the precinct the night prior to an election.

Bilingual individuals who speak English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Spanish, Haitian Creole.
