Compensation:
$200 to $350 for Election Day.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Orange County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are preregistered to vote in the county

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training lasts at least 3 hours.

Orange County also has an adopt-a-precinct program where volunteers can choose to donate their Election Day wages to a partner non-profit. Find more information here.

Bilingual individuals who speak English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Spanish, Haitian Creole.
