8:30 PM (Full day shifts are preferred. Part-day shifts may also be available.)
Compensation:
$18 per hour for Election Day and training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Connecticut to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-olds who are U.S. citizens and town residents.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

Additional Information

In addition to Election Day workers, the Town of Redding is looking for Early Voting workers. During Early Voting poll workers can work part-day shifts. Early Voting hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 8:000 PM on the last Tuesday and Thursday before Election Day, and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
