    $20 to $24 per hour for Election Day, Early Voting, and training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Colorado to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school juniors/seniors who are U.S. citizens.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: A combination of in-person and online training is required. In-person training typically lats 2 hours. Online training typically lasts 1 hour.

In addition to Election Day workers, Pitkin County is looking for pre-election workers. Early Voting shifts typically last from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
