$12.50 per hour for Election Day and training

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Colorado to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school juniors/seniors who are U.S. citizens.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: A combination of in-person and online training is available. In-person training typically lasts 4 to 5 hours. Online training typically lasts one hour.

Additional Information

In addition to Election Day workers, Ouray County is looking for pre-election workers. Early Voting shifts are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM during weekdays and 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
